Croydon Award for commitment to the Community
Almost all our fabulous students were unable to succeed at their previous schools.
But 92% are pleased to be at Cressey; 97% say the teaching helps them learn and to make progress; and 100% are proud of their achievements at Cressey.
Student Survey, Feb 2017
"(He) called me after his 1st day at Cressey to share his excitement, and tell me how much he loves his teachers ... he even learnt to play pool.
After 2 years of being out of school that's an amazing start, given all his difficulties."

Cressey wins top Croydon Excellence Award for contribution to the Community!
We're delighted that Cressey has been judged to be Croydon's very best organisation for Commitment to the Community, at the Croydon Business Excellence Awards 2017. We were nominated for consideration by someone who works in a maintained school, who was previously a Cressey employee.
This prestigious public honour was in recognition of the tireless dedication and passion of our fabulous staff teams, for Cressey's sustained success in transforming the lives of our students, and for our altruistic motivation to help our students as much as we can, and however we can.
Adrienne Cherrywood (Cressey's Headteacher) received the Award on behalf of the school. She said "It's our great staff who have earned this award. They work so hard, and it's not always easy, but they never give up and they keep on succeeding. On behalf of them all, I'm very proud to accept this award and we hugely appreciate this public recognition. We will continually strive to improve every aspect of what we do."
